As outlined last week, the aim of this series is to give you an overview of the Chart of Your Divine Self. The chart has three figures: the top one is your “I AM” Presence, the middle one is your Holy Christ Self, and the bottom one is Your Lower Self. (Your Lower Self is actually composed of four separate bodies, but we will come to that in a few weeks). We will start by looking at the Figure at the top of the chart—This is your Mighty “I AM” Presence.

Who am I?
Who am I? This is a very common question asked by those who begin to question their existence on Earth and their role in life. It can often be answered by saying I am a father/mother, son/daughter, lawyer, doctor, or engineer (take your pick of whatever role you fulfil!!). And while any and all of these statements may be true, they don’t get to the heart of the matter, to The Truth of who we are.
What is the true meaning of “I AM”
When you think of the expression “I AM,” it means that you know you have God in Action expressing in your Life. (Saint Germain, I AM Discourses Volume 3, Discourse 1)
When Jesus said: ” I AM’ the Resurrection and the Life,” He gave forth one of the mightiest utterances that can well be expressed. When He said, “I AM,” He did not refer to the outer expression, but He did refer to the Mighty Master Presence—God Within, because He repeatedly said: “I of myself can do nothing. It is the Father within— the ‘I AM’—that doeth the works.” (Saint Germain, I AM Discourses Volume 3, Discourse 2).
So “I AM” means God in me. When Jesus said, “I AM” The Way, The Truth and The Life, he meant that his “I AM” Presence, The God in Him, was The Way, The Truth and The Life. (Jesus referred to his “I AM “Presence as The Father)
The Words “I AM” as spoken in English releases the energy from God, your own Individualised God Presence, which is your Source. That Presence is the fountain of energy from which you receive, every moment of your life, the energy that keeps you alive. When you say the words “I AM” then you invoke Life. To think or speak these works draws life into manifestation. (The Law of Life Book 1- ADK Luk)
Just think of the number of times every day you use the phrase “I AM” (Either in thought, feeling or spoken word). I AM going to get up. I AM going to work. To think or speak the words “I AM” draws life into manifestation.
Your Mighty “I Am” Presence
Your Mighty “I AM” Presence is the Individualised Presence of God in You. It is in a body of Light Substance, a living, intelligent Being; it is a focus of all the God Powers that your outer self may draw upon. It supplies the outer self with life, intelligence, power, and action. It is one with the Great “I AM,” the Creator of All. From the heart of your “I AM” Presence is a ray of Light extending down, entering the Human Body through the top of the head (where the soft spot is in the skull of a newborn child) and anchoring in the heart. This is the stream of Life that beats the heart and keeps us alive.
The knowledge of The Individualised Presence gives one a definite focus of God, a powerhouse and active Intelligence from which to draw. Your Presence is the foundation of the Universe, it is one with the Great “I AM”
Acknowledging and Understanding your Mighty “I AM” Presence is the most powerful step you can take on this journey.
Dear Students, try to use this simple means as a reminder of God in Action in you. When you start to go down the street, think for an instant: “This is God’s Intelligence and Power by which I walk, and this is His Intelligence by which I know where ‘I AM’ going.” Thus you will see that it is no longer possible to go on without understanding that every move you make is God in Action. Every thought in your mind is God’s Energy, which enables you to think. When you know this is a fact—and there is no disputing it— why not adore, give full confidence to, trust in, have faith in, and accept this Mighty Presence of God in Action in you; instead of looking to the outer expression which is clothed, qualified, and coloured by the outer, or human concept of things, regardless of the One Mighty Presence which enables the outer to express.
(Saint Germain, I AM Discourses Volume 3, Discourse 2).
