Over the last few weeks, we have explained Your Mighty “I AM” Presence and Your Holy Christ Self. This week, we will look at the figure at the bottom of the chart—you!
Our Three Upper and Four Earthly Bodies.
What we perceive with our eyesight as one body, Our Physical Body, is, in fact, four bodies combined. These are sometimes referred to as our Four Lower or Four Earthly Bodies. We are made up of Seven Bodies in total, four lower, and three Upper. Our Mighty “I AM Presence”, our Holy Christ Self and Our Causal Body make up the Three Higher Bodies. We will examine the Causal Body in our next session.
The Four Earthly Bodies
These are the 4 bodies in which we function on Earth. They are all individualized and have their own consciousness. At the centre of these bodies is the PHYSICAL BODY, which is the vehicle in which we move and have our being. Because it is the body that we can see, it is the one that we identify with the most. We are often captive to its appetites and desires, which is something that we need to be aware of and bring under control. The remaining Three Earthly Bodies are known as our Finer Bodies.
Your Physical Body is only a garment which you, the Self-Conscious, thinking and experiencing Individual wear. (Unveiled Mysteries, Chapter 1-Meeting The Master)
The Second Body is our ETHERIC BODY which interpenetrates and extends out from our Physical Body. Our Etheric Body is also known as our SOUL. It is of a higher frequency than our physical body, so not seen. Our Soul contains all the memories, both good and bad of all our lifetimes on the earth. Originally, Our Soul was perfect. Over time, the discordant experiences of our many lifetimes have caused wounds or tears in our etheric body. Nature heals these as best it can over time, but the scars remain. Under certain circumstances, when undue pressure is placed on these scars by unpleasant experiences, the scar bursts open, causing disease, great distress or inharmony. From the outer sense consciousness, there appears to be no explanation for these reactions
The Third body is our MENTAL BODY which also interpenetrates and extends from our physical body. This body was created purely to receive Divine Ideas, but it has been usurped by the Human Self, and this is where we begin to create all the discord in our lives and world. If it is not stopped by us, it continually brings into our consciousness bad thoughts, usually because of past experiences or fearful thoughts of the future, which, if fed by the EMOTIONAL BODY, manifest in our lives and world.
The Fourth body is the EMOTIONAL BODY, it is the largest of our Four Earthly bodies and the most difficult to control. Like the other two finer bodies, it interpenetrates and extends out from our physical bodies and should only be used to fill our feelings with a desire to fulfill the Divine Ideas, that our Mental Body has received from our “I AM” Presence and expand ‘The Kingdom of God’ in this lower realm on a planet.
The Three-Fold Flame- The Holy Trinity Within Us
No discussion of the Four Earthly Bodies is complete without reference to the Three-Fold Flame. This is the ‘Spiritual Flame’ within our Heart, that enables us to live, think, feel, act and be in this physical world. It is the anchorage of our “I AM” Presence within the physical body, and through this Light, we have life and opportunities to fulfil our individual Divine Plans and assist the Earth at this critical time. We have free will, and if we misuse this Light (life), we create misery in our lives, for we reap what we sow with mathematical accuracy. Without this Flame in our hearts, we have no life. When it is in Perfect Balance, it brings Love (Pink, on the right side), Wisdom (Golden Yellow in the centre), & Power (Sapphire Blue on the left side) for our use in the world and allows our I AM Presence to fulfil Its Divine Plan through us.
