The aim of this series is to give you, the student, the background and meaning behind the Chart of Your Divine Presence – The Mighty “I AM”. This chart represents your Individualised God Presence, and its understanding and acceptance is the foundation of all the teachings. Every week, we will give a short explanation of the various elements of the Chart, with suggested further reading if that is what you feel called to do.

So, what is an Ascended Master?
“I want to tell you that we, the Ascended Masters, are real! We are beings as tangible and visible as you are! We have families, friends and responsibilities just like you do! The only difference, we are fully aware of who we truly are! We live in the fullness of our true God Self, our beloved mighty “I AM Presence”.”- Beloved Lady Meta
Ascended Masters are Divine Beings that walked the Earth as we do now, and through their own effort and understanding of their “I AM” Presence, the use of the Sacred Fire (qualified spiritual Light) and obedience to the Universal Laws that govern our lives, they achieved the Mastery and Ascension. The most “famous” Ascended Master in the Western World is Jesus Christ. Other well-known Masters are Mother Mary, Lord Buddha and Lord Kuthumi (Kuthumi walked the earth as one of the Three Wise Men, St Francis of Assisi and Pythagoras). The Ascended Master Saint Germain is the “driving force” behind the “I AM” Teachings and the Master in charge for the next 2000 years, and we will become very familiar with His work, His words and His Presence over the coming years. Saint Germain previous incarnations include The Old Testament Prophet Samuel and Joseph (The husband of Mother Mary, and father to Jesus.)
It is important to emphasise that the Ascended Masters were human beings like you and I- What They achieved, we must also achieve, which is to take our next evolutionary step, The Ascension.
How did the Ascended Masters deliver their Messages?
In the case of book 3 of the “I AM” Discourses, the foreword says:
The thirty-three Discourses contained in this book were dictated over a visible Light and Sound Ray in our home during 1932 by the Ascended Master Saint Germain and those other Ascended Masters directly concerned with this Activity. The sound of His Voice was physically audible to everyone in the room. At times, His Visible, Tangible Presence also stood within the room when He radiated the Power and Energy of the Light Rays to accomplish special work.

We will reference the above (and some other) publications regularly. These publications were principally dictated to chosen individuals in the 1930s, 1940s and 1950s when the Ascended Masters received permission to explain clearly, in easy-to-understand language the reality of our true nature. Prior to this permission, the material was only available in occult schools
